My Story Gyno Background

What I Can Provide Via Telehealth

At Grace Health, all services are provided virtually using your smart device.  Each visit will include a thorough health history and a review of current medications/therapies.  Any necessary lab tests, diagnostic imaging, and treatment will be ordered during the visit.

Not all Women’s Health visits are appropriate for telehealth but many things are such as:

  • Preparing for a date with a new partner but haven’t had recent STI testing?  Grace Health can help!

  • Experiencing urinary frequency or vaginal itching but can’t get a soon enough appointment with your OBGYN?  Grace Health can order lab tests and prescribe treatment for that.

  • Trying to avoid pregnancy but don’t have time to find a new OBGYN?  Let Grace Health get you started on birth control.

  • Thinking about getting pregnant soon but not sure where to start?  Grace Health can set you on the right path.

  • Are hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings ruining your day?  Grace Health can answer questions and prescribe treatment for perimenopause and menopause.

  • Finally ready to quit smoking, like for real this time?  Grace Health can get you through it.

My Story

Hi! As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), I am both a registered nurse (RN) and an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN).  As an APRN, I can examine, consult, diagnose, and treat my own patients.

I have been in the medical field for the past 18 years.  During that time I have worked in medical administration, as an EMT, labor & delivery nurse, and as an OBGYN APRN.

Women’s Health is my passion.  Women are the pillars of our families and communities but sometimes we are so busy caring for others that we rarely make time to care for ourselves.  As a wife and mother, I can relate to this. There also seems to be an element of mystery and taboo regarding the female body that makes people nervous talking about it.  If you’ve ever gone to your primary care provider for a breast or vaginal concern only to watch him sweat and offer to refer you to an OBGYN, then you know what I’m talking about.  It is my hope that by sharing my knowledge with as many women as possible, they will feel empowered to take charge of their own health and inspire other women in their lives to do the same.
